Topscomm Medium Voltage PLC System Constitution

Topscomm medium voltage PLC communication utilizes 6-35kV power line as transmission channel, with many advantages like small investment, simple construction, convenient maintenance, synchronous with power grid construction, fast engineering launch, coverage consistent with power system, etc.

Topscomm medium voltage PLC system is composed of carrier host, carrier slave and coupler, widely used in electricity consumption information acquisition field and distribution network automation field.

Technical Specialties

Topscomm MV power line carrier communication technology is equipped with our own patent technology of low-voltage PLC, and provided with targeted and creative research. With advantages as below:

a) Advanced FEC technology to lower transmission data error and improve communication stability; 

b) Self-developed TCSK modulation-demodulation technology and Active Noise Cancellation to optimize anti-noise performance;

c) Self-adaptive impedance matching technology in response to time-varying power line channel ;

d) Flexible ad hoc network based on multi-relay strategy to extend the carrier transmission range;

e) Network management software with friendly HCI and visual model, which can be used to monitor the real-time communication states remotely;

f) Strict experimental testing, including dielectric withstand and lightning surge test to ensure the security and reliability of power grid.
